60 Self-care strategies to embrace ease and embrace luxury on a budget

#4 drinking herbal tea
#5 Eating fresh fruit and vegetables and drinking water
#6 Journaling
#7 Peace of Mind (so simple, and yet so profound!)
#8 A clean, organized and decluttered house or environment
#9 Long walks in nature - such as the park or along a beach
#10 Baking and cooking
#11 Flower arranging
#12 Fresh manicures and pedicures at home or at a spa
#13 Moisturized skin
#14 Fruit infused water
#15 Long lasting fragrances
#16 Lying down while giving yourself a scalp massage (hot oil treatments + scalp massages = ultimate relaxation)

#19 Bubble baths or Epson salt baths

#21 Receiving money (I mean, hey, who doesn’t love a stack of cash)
#22 Asking for and accepting help - which is incredibly important, especially as black women we tend to take on everything by ourselves, and we tend to feel weak if we do accept help. But that is a lie rooted in capitalism aiming to uphold hustle culture, individualism, and self-reliance.

#30 Being able to date men you like instead of the ones you need - incredibly important! We don't want to be in a space where we feel desperate or that we need to be with a man because of whatever he's able to provide for you that you're not able to provide for yourself.
